My previous comic was about us buying a new sofa, sorry, cat bed and how pleased we were. However, it should be mentioned that where the curvature of the left arm meets a shelving unit, it creates another area for Tali to hide in. And when I can’t find her, I immediately think the worst…

We recently bought a new sofa after the old one barely lasted a year of being sat on (that teaches us for buying a cheap sofa…) which can only mean one thing; Tali has something else to sleep on and hog with her elongated sleeping habits.

I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series so it was high time that I made a What If? cat of the games’ protagonist, Solid Snake. And it gets better. Solid Snake, or Solid Moggy, joins six other brand new What If? cats and five of my favourites to make an A4 poster which I’ll be selling tomorrow and Sunday at London’s MCM Expo. After that, the posters will be available to buy from my shop.

This Saturday and Sunday I’ll be at the London MCM Expo, a place for all things comics, films, sci-fi, anime, video games and, I expect, a lot of cosplaying! My usual items will be on sale (you know, my mini comic Goodbye Kitty, the Best of Eat, Sleep, Sniff volume 1 etc,) but I’ll also have some new prints and an A4 poster of a few old and new What If? cats too.

I only found out this morning that, apparently, today is World Goth Day so I thought I’d quickly knock up a What If? cat for probably the most famous goth in the world of movies. The cliché moodiness of this particular goth is somewhat cancelled out due to his cuteness but still, he’s a goth nonetheless!

As it’s the start of National Vegetarian Week I thought I’d share what happens when Tali eats her greens. We bought her one of the indoor cat grass boxes since cats like to chomp on grass and initially she loved it. But we were quickly reminded why cats eat grass in the first place…

I have toyed with the idea and started looking at suppliers but the whole thing can become a bit of a nightmare very quickly! That’s not to say I wouldn’t so it’s worth getting on contact via email and I can investigate the possibility of one-offs or something. Thanks for your question!

Every couple of years, Cats Protection has their (newly renamed) National Cat Awards where owners nominate a particular feline who has gone above and beyond the usual duties of being the family pet. With such grand stories that get sent in, I sometimes forget Tali’s exceptional skill; saving my wussy butt from spiders!

Tali was ever vocal this weekend which isn’t usually an issue but I’ve been a bit sickly recently so the sound of her meows weren’t as pleasant as they normally are. I did ask her to keep it down however I think this just made her meow even louder.

Trying to discipline Tali is a bit of a pointless task. Wagging a finger in her face to show authority never has the same effect when she rubs her cheek against it.

I hope you’re all having a nice Bank Holiday now that the weather has momentarily dried up. And if you’re not in the UK, I hope you’re having a nice Monday! My day will probably be spent doing some work then annoying Tali by calling her name every time she falls asleep. Which is a lot. Hey, fair is fair, she does something similar to me! Though I probably should get a better hobby…

Today is May the 4th which, of course, means it’s Star Wars day where all nerds, geeks and enthusiasts celebrate a beloved sci-fi classic by telling everyone “May the 4th be with you.” I’m certainly no exception and give to you Boba Katt, a cute but ruthless bounty hunter. Happy Star Wars day!

Tali can sleep for hours like any good cat but when she does so on my lap, that can be problematic. Not because I don’t want her there but when I do need to move she looks at me with a pitiful stare, making me feel incredibly guilty for disturbing her. The only solution is to then sit a bit longer, granting Tali her wish. Crafty moggy.

I bought some new shoes recently and for some reason, Tali is absolutely infatuated with them. I’m often catching her rubbing her face on them like a lunatic, purring excitedly as if whispering sweet nothings into its faux-leathery ear.
