My previous comic was about us buying a new sofa, sorry, cat bed and how pleased we were. However, it should be mentioned that where the curvature of the left arm meets a shelving unit, it creates another area for Tali to hide in. And when I can’t find her, I immediately think the worst…

We recently bought a new sofa after the old one barely lasted a year of being sat on (that teaches us for buying a cheap sofa…) which can only mean one thing; Tali has something else to sleep on and hog with her elongated sleeping habits.

As it’s the start of National Vegetarian Week I thought I’d share what happens when Tali eats her greens. We bought her one of the indoor cat grass boxes since cats like to chomp on grass and initially she loved it. But we were quickly reminded why cats eat grass in the first place…

Question time! Gekkeijuleaves asked: Don’t suppose you’ve considered making t-shirts at all have you? I’d definitely be interested :DI have toyed with the idea and started looking at suppliers but the whole thing can become a bit of a nightmare very quickly! That’s not to say I wouldn’t so it’s worth getting on contact via email and I can investigate the possibility of one-offs or something. Thanks for your question! If you want to ask me anything, email or click the Ask button in the top navigation. I have been a bit slack at answering questions, so I apologise for that but aiming to get tackle a few more in the coming weeks.

Every couple of years, Cats Protection has their (newly renamed) National Cat Awards where owners nominate a particular feline who has gone above and beyond the usual duties of being the family pet. With such grand stories that get sent in, I sometimes forget Tali’s exceptional skill; saving my wussy butt from spiders!I’m not sure if spider-catcher is a category in the National Cat Awards but you can find more out about them by visiting the official site.

Tali was ever vocal this weekend which isn’t usually an issue but I’ve been a bit sickly recently so the sound of her meows weren’t as pleasant as they normally are. I did ask her to keep it down however I think this just made her meow even louder.

Trying to discipline Tali is a bit of a pointless task. Wagging a finger in her face to show authority never has the same effect when she rubs her cheek against it.

I hope you’re all having a nice Bank Holiday now that the weather has momentarily dried up. And if you’re not in the UK, I hope you’re having a nice Monday! My day will probably be spent doing some work then annoying Tali by calling her name every time she falls asleep. Which is a lot. Hey, fair is fair, she does something similar to me! Though I probably should get a better hobby…

Tali can sleep for hours like any good cat but when she does so on my lap, that can be problematic. Not because I don’t want her there but when I do need to move she looks at me with a pitiful stare, making me feel incredibly guilty for disturbing her. The only solution is to then sit a bit longer, granting Tali her wish. Crafty moggy.

I bought some new shoes recently and for some reason, Tali is absolutely infatuated with them. I’m often catching her rubbing her face on them like a lunatic, purring excitedly as if whispering sweet nothings into its faux-leathery ear.

Tali has got into the habit of sleeping on one of our cushions that sits atop a bean bag and does so with her back to us. But she’s so lazy that she won’t even turn around to look at us and instead flops backwards to meet our gaze upside down. Ridiculously cute but oh so lazy.

Happy St George’s Day!

Happy St George’s Day!

It’s Easter! To celebrate, I made a silly little Gif of Tali being tormented by a decorated egg. Why? I could say it’s part of ongoing experiments with animation techniques but in reality, I made it just for a laugh… Happy Easter!

Yesterday may have been April Fool’s day but today and for the rest of the year, it’s Tali Fool’s day. Any animal who attacks their own tail with such ferocity only to then frantically lick away the pain is a bit of a fool.

Skyrim may have come out a while ago now but since it’s such a huge game, I suspect it’s still being played. This week’s What If? cat is dedicated to the fantasy RPG and also involves myself and Tali in a game of who can look the most ridiculous. Unfortunately, I’m the winner…
